Kalshi Launches Bitcoin Perpetual Futures, a First in the US Regulated Market

Approved by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission

The US prediction market platform Kalshi announced on social media on the 3rd that it has officially started trading Bitcoin perpetual futures. This product is linked to the spot price of Bitcoin and will be offered without trading fees for the time being. On May 29, the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) issued an approval order to Kalshi for the listing of this product, in accordance with the Commodity Exchange Act and the designated contract markets regulations.
