U.S. House Representative Brian Steele (Republican) plans to add a provision targeting prediction markets such as Polymarket and Kalshi to the House's stock trading prohibition bill. The provision aims to ban members from betting on elections and public policies in these markets. Bloomberg Government reported this on the 5th.
