Stock Plunge Following Discovery of ZEC Vulnerability

On the 5th, the stock of Cypherpunk Technologies, a NASDAQ-listed financial firm dealing with Zcash (ZEC), plummeted by more than 47%. This dramatic drop was triggered by an announcement from Shielded Labs, a development support group for Zcash, which revealed a significant forgeable vulnerability in the privacy layer 'Orchard pool' on the same day.

The vulnerability was in Orchard's zero-knowledge proof circuit (zkSNARK circuit)...
