Preparing to Sue the CFTC On the verge of stepping down, Terence Duffy, CEO of the U.S. CME Group, appeared on CNBC's 'Fast Money' on the 17th, expressing his dissatisfaction with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)'s approval of cryptocurrency perpetual futures (perpetual futures). He announced that he would file a lawsuit on the 18th. Duffy, who is scheduled to resign as CEO in March 2027, stated, 'We are ready. We are not taking this lightly.'
