On June 19, Coincheck announced the implementation of an 'additional personal verification' using the Public Personal Authentication Service (JPKI) embedded in the IC chip of My Number cards, within its cryptocurrency trading service 'Coincheck'. This initiative to conduct additional personal verification via JPKI during cryptocurrency transfers is the first of its kind in Japan (according to the company, as of June 2026).
