On July 1, a legal framework was implemented in Russia allowing export and import companies to officially use Bitcoin and stablecoins for international trade settlements. This system, coordinated by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Russia, transitions the pilot operations that have been ongoing since 2024 into a formal legal structure.
