SEC Publishes Agenda

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced on the 7th its regulatory agenda for 2026, indicating its intention to propose a new rule set, 'Regulation Crypto', aimed at cryptocurrencies within this month.

'Regulation Crypto' will offer temporary exemptions from securities registration for developers launching investment contracts in cryptocurrencies for the first time. It also establishes a safe harbor for issuers that allows for a certain level of fundraising while reducing regulatory involvement in securities management.
