Issuance of B20 Tokens Now Possible on Base

The Ethereum L2 chain 'Base', supported by major US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, activated the B20 token standard on its mainnet on July 8. With the introduction of the B20 standard, issuers can now directly mint native tokens such as stablecoins, real-world assets (RWAs), and tokenized stocks on Base.

This enables token issuers to create individual ERC-20 smart contracts...
