In a significant move to safeguard cryptocurrency innovation and usage within the state, Governor Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire signed the 'Blockchain Basic Law (HB639)' last week. The bill, spearheaded by State Representative Keith Ammon, aims to protect one of the most fundamental rights in the digital economy: the right for individuals to self-manage (self-custody) their digital assets.
