Possible Unauthorized Outflow of Approximately 2.9 Billion Yen

Cryptocurrency security firm Blockaid reported on the 15th, Japan time, that approximately $18 million (about 2.9 billion yen) in USDC was illicitly transferred from Ostium, a platform for perpetual futures trading of real-world assets (RWA) such as stocks and commodities. Subsequently, Mr. Kaledra, a co-founder of Ostium, did not specify the amount but confirmed that assets had been illicitly transferred. Measures to address and rectify the issue are already underway...
