Launch of the 'Bitcoin Quantum Preparedness Initiative'

Cryptocurrency firm Galaxy Digital announced on the 21st the 'Galaxy Bitcoin Quantum Preparedness Initiative' to prepare Bitcoin (BTC) for the threats posed by quantum computers.

Specifically, the initiative includes up to $5 million (approximately 800 million yen) in grants for developers working on quantum-resistant solutions for Bitcoin, specialized research and information provision programs, and leading experts in quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography...
