Circle Internet Financial announced on the 27th that it has acquired key assets from the blockchain patent portfolio of U.S. tech giant IBM. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
The acquired patents consist of more than 680 patent families, with individual patents registered across various countries and regions, totaling nearly 1,000 worldwide. These patents cover foundational technologies in banking, financial services, insurance, corporate infrastructure, supply chain authentication, and secure cloud operations, among others.
