Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL) announced on the 28th that the cryptocurrency Zcash's network upgrade 'Ironwood' was activated at block height 3,428,143 on the mainnet.

With this activation, the inflow of new funds into the existing privacy pool 'Orchard' has been halted. Funds remaining in the pool are managed through a mechanism known as 'turnstile' set at the boundary...
