Reuters reported on July 29 that the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has criminally prosecuted and issued an international warrant for Pavel Durov, the founder of the encrypted messaging app Telegram, on charges of supporting terrorist activities. According to the FSB, the charges involve channels and chatbots used by Ukrainian intelligence agencies and terrorist/extremist groups for preparing and coordinating sabotage, terrorism, mass killings, and cyber fraud within Russia.
