On the 31st, Galaxy Research reported that vulnerabilities in the Coldcard, a hardware wallet managed by CoinKite, led to the extraction of 1,082.65 BTC (approximately 11 billion yen) from 1,196 addresses. The analysis was based on patterns identified by engineers at the payment company Block, who tracked the flow of funds.
