Hashdex Announces Closure of the First U.S. Bitcoin Spot ETF

On August 3rd, U.S. asset management company Hashdex announced the closure and liquidation of its 'Hashdex Bitcoin ETF', the only Bitcoin spot ETF in the United States. According to the press release, as of July 30th, the managed assets were approximately $14.7 million. Key dates include shareholders being able to sell their DEFI shares until the end of trading on August 17th.
