Circle, the issuer of the US dollar-backed stablecoin USDC, announced on their official blog on the 6th that USDC and the cross-chain transfer protocol 'CCTP' are now supported on the cryptocurrency exchange OKX's Layer 2 (L2) blockchain, 'X Layer'.

CCTP is a cross-chain transfer protocol provided by Circle, designed to allow direct movement of USDC across different blockchains without the need for intermediaries like bridges, which is a distinctive feature.
