Citi's New Custody Strategy

On the 18th, Citi Investor Services, a division of the major U.S. financial institution Citi, announced the launch of its new custody platform 'Custody Plus', centered around real-time processing, in an official statement. The company also revealed its plan to start offering Bitcoin (BTC) custody services within the year.

The company has completed the U.S. rollout of its proprietary processing technology 'Single Event Processing (SEP)', handling over 80% of asset management tasks such as dividends and stock splits in real-time...
