Digital Garage, an IT business conglomerate, announced on the 19th that it has signed a basic agreement with major credit card company JCB and leading convenience store chain Lawson to conduct a pilot test for in-store payments using stablecoins. The pilot will primarily explore the use case of international visitors making payments in stores using the US-dollar-linked stablecoin 'USDC'.
