Large-Scale Attack Campaign Targeting Seed Phrases

On the 19th, cybersecurity company Socket announced the identification of an attack campaign related to 77 extensions in the popular web browser 'Firefox'.

Out of these, 40 were found to contain malicious features that steal secret information and authentication details of cryptocurrency wallets. The remaining 37 were extensions that appeared as unrelated tools but displayed sports match results.
