The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has submitted a new proposal to revise the custody regulations for cryptocurrency assets handled by investment advisers and investment companies to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) at the White House on the 25th, as reported by Bloomberg and others on the 26th.

The proposal aims to clarify the framework for the custody of cryptocurrency assets by investment advisers and companies, and includes the repeal of some existing custody regulations.
