On the 8th, Circle, a leading issuer of USDC, announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Singapore-based TazaPay, a provider of B2B international remittance infrastructure for payment service providers and financial institutions. The acquisition is expected to be completed within 2027, subject to customary closing conditions including approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
