The organizations and engineering team associated with the cryptocurrency Zcash (ZEC) unanimously agreed on the 18th to aim for the next upgrade, 'NU7', to be executed on the mainnet by November 5.
Prior to this, they plan to test it on the testnet on October 6 before deploying it on the mainnet. The NU7 upgrade will include reducing the block generation interval from the current 75 seconds to 25 seconds.
