On the 4th, U.S. rating giant S&P Global Ratings announced the launch of a new evaluation method, 'Vault Risk Assessment (VRA),' targeting lending vaults on the blockchain. The initial evaluation of individual vaults will be published at a later date.
According to S&P, the total assets under management in blockchain lending vaults reached approximately $10 billion as of September 2026. This marks a 6.7-fold increase from $1.5 billion in September 2024 over two years.
