Provision of "EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet"
HashPort, which handles blockchain and NFT-related businesses, announced on the 23rd that it will begin offering the "EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet" from next month 1st, in anticipation of the Osaka-Kansai Expo (2025 World Expo, Japan), scheduled to be held in 2025.
Going forward, the company will work with supporting and cooperating companies, local governments, and pavilions to work together to issue limited SBTs and NFTs as proof of participation in events related to the Osaka-Kansai Expo and proof of visit history to each facility. The app will be available to download from today.
According to the announcement, the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet will have three main features: a "wallet ID platform," an "SBT digital passport," and a "Web 3.0 wallet."
▶︎Functions provided by the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet
First, the wallet ID platform will enable registration and login with a single ID for the unique financial services provided at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, such as electronic money "Myakupe!", points "Myakupo!", and the Expo's unique NFT "Myakuoon!". This will be achieved by linking the registration information with each financial service.
The second will use SBT, which cannot be transferred to a third party, and will be called the SBT Digital Passport and equipped with an identification function. Through the SBT Digital Passport, users will be able to seamlessly link with pavilions and local governments for various services inside and outside the venue.
The design of the SBT was created with the aim of encouraging users to use it with affection, and used "Myakumyaku," the official character of the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

The third feature, the Web 3.0 wallet, will be responsible for storing SBTs and NFTs issued by pavilions and local government collaboration.
By holding these SBTs and NFTs, not only can users prove their actions, but they also aim to demonstrate real-world use cases for SBTs and NFTs by functioning as coupons and rewards.
They explain that the service can be used without the need for complicated settings, using HashWallet, a Web 3.0 wallet platform provided by Hashport. As of the 23rd, they are planning to collaborate with JAL, JR West, Kyoto Prefecture, Nara City, and others.
Hashport announced its sponsorship of the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet in July of this year, and has indicated its intention to promote collaboration with local governments using SBTs and NFTs.
