[NEW] Oricon survey announces ranking of cryptocurrency exchanges with the highest customer satisfaction: Bitbank takes first place overall in spot trading
Survey on satisfaction with cryptocurrency exchanges
Oricon ME, which conducts customer satisfaction surveys, conducted a satisfaction survey on domestic cryptocurrency (virtual currency) exchanges on the 1st. As a result, Bitbank came in first overall for spot trading, and SBI FX Trade came in first overall for margin trading, both for the first time.
The ranking is made up of eight evaluation items: "account opening," "ease of trading," "fees," "asset management," "provided information," "campaigns," "customer support," and "system security," plus an overall evaluation.
Bitbank received high marks for "account opening," "ease of trading," and "provided information." It also ranked first in six of the eight evaluation items. There were also reviews saying, "The charts are easier to read than anywhere else," and "The app is easy to use."
SBI FX Trade was also supported for "asset management," "provided information," and "campaigns," and came in first in six of the eight evaluation items.
In addition, GMO Coin took the top spot for the "beginner" level for the second consecutive year. The definition of "beginner" by department and level is "someone who opened an account within the last three years," "someone who has made an inquiry," and "someone who has only had experience in spot trading."
Bitbank increases points in multiple categories
For the survey, evaluation items appropriate to the service were set based on a preliminary survey and company interviews, and satisfaction was asked about each item. The results were compiled and a ranking was announced for companies that met the required number of respondents.
The survey targets 15 cryptocurrency exchanges registered with the Financial Services Agency that provide spot trading services. The ranking for spot trading was compiled based on the survey results of 6,216 people who have conducted spot trading of cryptocurrencies themselves, mainly using discretionary trading, within the past three years.
Bitbank, which ranked first overall in spot trading this time, has risen in rank from second place last year. Meanwhile, GMO Coin, which was first last year, has fallen to second place. In addition, BITPOINT came in third, DMM Bitcoin in fourth place, and bitFlyer in fifth place, which have not changed since last year.
Bitbank has been gaining points since last year in the areas of "account opening," "ease of trading," and "richness of information provided," which is thought to have led to its rise in ranking.
SBI FX Trade's ranking is due to fees and spreads, etc.
On the other hand, the survey on margin trading was conducted on nine cryptocurrency exchanges registered with the Financial Services Agency that provide margin trading services, and was calculated from the results of a survey of 559 people who have conducted margin trading of cryptocurrency assets themselves, mainly using discretionary trading, within the past three years.
Like Bitbank, SBI FX Trade ranked first in six categories. Factors supporting the company included "If you open a securities account, you can easily open other trading accounts with SBI. There are also a wide variety of order methods and the contract speed is fast," and "Low fees and spreads."
In the overall ranking, GMO Coin ranked second, bitFlyer in third, DMM Bitcoin in fourth, and Rakuten Wallet in fifth.
