On the 30th, SBINFT, a subsidiary of the SBI Group, announced that it has partnered with Loyalty Marketing, Inc., which operates the shared points service "Ponta," and will make it available on "SBINFT Market" from the 31st.
This means that it is now possible to earn Ponta points on SBINFT Market and use the points you hold to purchase NFTs.
In July of last year, SBINFT signed a memorandum of understanding regarding a business partnership that includes the use of Ponta points on SBINFT Market, the NFT marketplace provided by the company, and discussions have been ongoing. Through this initiative, it aims to provide an opportunity for Ponta members to easily enjoy NFTs.
In order to earn Ponta points, you need to connect your wallet to SBINFT Market and link your Ponta membership ID from your My Page before purchasing NFTs.
In addition, when paying by credit card, 1 Ponta point is awarded for every 100 yen (tax included) of the purchase amount. In addition, if you purchase NFTs on SBINFT Market with crypto assets (virtual currencies), you will receive 30 Ponta points for each purchase of 3,000 yen or more.
To commemorate the service partnership, SBINFT will also be running a campaign to distribute "Ponta special NFTs" to users who meet certain conditions.
About SBINFT
SBINFT provides the NFT marketplace SBINFT Market and the marketing platform "SBINFT Mits" that utilizes NFTs.
SBINFT Market is a platform that supports public chains that allow the primary sale of NFTs created by authorized content holders, NFT sellers, and individual artists, as well as the secondary sale of NFTs held by users. Payment methods include Ethereum (ETH), Polygon (MATIC), Oasis (OAS), and credit cards (Japanese yen).
SBINFT Mits is also a marketing platform that allows companies and projects to visualize their loyal customers by combining their own data with NFTs, and then to develop and acquire them in one stop.
With 11 functions that are useful for issuing NFTs and forming and managing communities, it is a service that allows you to build direct relationships with fans, and even if you have no knowledge of Web 3.0, you can start an NFT project and easily carry out marketing using NFTs.
Ponta Points, which this partnership has realized, started its service in March 2010 and is one of the largest points services in Japan, currently with over 100 million members.
Collaboration with a large-scale point economy could be a major motivation for people who have not yet come into contact with Web 3.0 products such as NFTs to use SBINFT.
