[NEWS] STEPN and Adidas partner to release NFT sneakers "Genesis Sneakers"

Move to Earn (M2E) blockchain game STEPN announced on the 15th that it will partner with Adidas to launch a limited edition NFT sneaker collection, "STEPN x Adidas Genesis."

The Solana-based generative NFT collection features 1,000 unique items inspired by the brand's most iconic running silhouettes.

The Genesis collection will be the first in a series of co-branded activities in STEPN's partnership with Adidas. The company explained that NFT airdrops and physical wearable items are on the roadmap going forward.

STEPN has previously produced high-profile collaborations, including digital wearables created with DJ and music producer Steve Aoki, content with the popular Japanese anime series "Ghost in the Shell," and soccer club Atletico Madrid.

Shiti Manghani, CEO of FSL (Find Satoshi Lab Limited), commented on the partnership: "This collaboration highlights how powerful it is to be able to move and earn in both the virtual and real worlds at the same time."

He added: "The reality of this physical and digital, or physical, partnership between the most widely used lifestyle app and a global brand like Adidas shows the direction we're heading towards in lifestyle rewards."

The Genesis Collection will be sold on the NFT marketplace MOOAR. The collection will be available to users who win a two-phase lottery.

The first lottery will begin on the 17th, with 200 NFTs available. This lottery will include ALTS holders from Adidas NFTs and eligible members of the broader FSL community, including users of STEPN, MOOAR, and the blockchain game GasHero.

The second phase will be a public lottery sale, where the remaining 790 NFTs will be available for purchase. This phase will run from April 18th to 21st. Winners will be selected every 24 hours and will be able to collect their prizes at MOOAR.
