[NEWS] STEPN to sell NFT sneakers in collaboration with Steve Aoki

Popular Move to Earn game STEPN announced on the 30th that it has partnered with world-famous DJ Steve Aoki to sell collaborative NFT sneakers.

This will be related to Aoki's membership platform "A0K1VERSE" that utilizes NFTs.

The collaborative NFT sneakers will be available in four designs, with 300 units issued on Solana (SOL). 60 of those units will be distributed on A0K1VERSE.

Only users who win a lottery will be able to purchase the sneakers. The lottery will take place on the NFT marketplace MOOAR from 0:00 UTC on October 31 (15:00 Japan time on October 31) to 23:59 UTC on November 3 (8:59 Japan time on November 4). The price per unit will be 3,500 GMT (approximately 100,000 yen).

In a statement, STEPN said its partnership with Aoki is "more than just a collaboration" and emphasized that it is "a testament to our commitment to uniting diverse worlds, including music, technology and fashion."

Aoki also commented, "The collaboration with STEPN is an exciting step to bring the metaverse and the real world closer together." He described the collaborative NFT sneakers as a "bridge to the future," saying, "We are not only changing the way we interact with technology, but also embracing the opportunities this new technology brings."

Shiti Manghani, COO of Find Satoshi Lab, which develops STEPN, said the company's goal is "to enable millions of users to benefit from the vibrant space we have created," and added, "This partnership highlights our commitment and the immense potential of the industry."
