Air Jordan.
You have probably heard of this world famous shoe model. Red and white base with a black Swoosh (Nike's icon). The colors of the early models Michael Jordan wore in games are wonderfully sophisticated.
Exposure to movies, reading, and the arts allows one to bathe in a waterfall of human life and hone one's own sensibilities. Although it is easy to get caught up in daily work and inevitably have precious few opportunities to do so, sensitivity is a very important weapon when working with writing.
It is common for people to look at the same thing and come up with different ideas. However, it is difficult to look at the same thing and come up with a number of different ideas without sensitivity. I believe that the sensibility to see an image from a text and to write a text from the image comes from the sensibility of the individual.
The other day, I finally had a chance to see the movie “Air” which I had always wanted to see. As you may have guessed, it is a movie about the true story of how the “Air Jordan” was created.
In the 1980s, Nike at the time was losing ground to competitors such as Adidas and Converse, and sales were stagnant. Nike was at a loss, with no budget allocated for a project to revive the company. The Nike employee, played by Matt Damon, decides to sign an exclusive contract with an unknown newcomer, instead of signing several rookies with cheaper budgets for promotion.
