Texas Governor Signs 'Bitcoin Reserve Protection Act'

On the 20th, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed 300 bills, but notably did not sign the much-anticipated Bitcoin Reserve Establishment Bill, SB21. This bill is expected to automatically become law on June 22, Sunday, under the provisions of the state constitution. Meanwhile, Governor Abbott did sign the Reserve Protection Act, HB4488. This act aims to protect the future-established Bitcoin (BTC) reserves as a permanent fund, and is intended to work in conjunction with SB21.
