Gemini Achieves Nasdaq Listing, Winklevoss Twins Predict Bitcoin to Reach $1 Million

Gemini Space Station (GEMI), a US cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winklevoss twins, successfully listed on Nasdaq on the 12th. The stock price temporarily soared from the IPO price of $28 to over $40 and is currently trading at $32. Gemini sold over 15 million Class A shares at $28 each, raising $425 million. The company had initially projected a public offering price between $24 and $26, but the final pricing exceeded these expectations. The stock price increase on the first day of listing mirrored the performance of other cryptocurrency companies that went public this year, such as Figure Technologies Solutions and Circle.
