Ripple's RLUSD Now Exchangeable with Tokenized Treasury Funds like BlackRock's

Collaboration with Securitize

On the 23rd, Ripple and Securitize announced a smart contract feature that allows holders of BlackRock's BUIDL and VanEck's VBILL to exchange their tokenized shares for Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoins. This feature enables investors to exchange tokenized treasury fund shares for RLUSD instantly, available 24/7, 365 days a year. BUIDL, with over $2 billion in managed assets, is the largest tokenized treasury fund, while VBILL manages approximately $74 million. Both funds aim to maintain a net asset value of one dollar per share, similar to stablecoins, and are usable within a decentralized economy.
