On the 7th, Overs and King Records held an event to announce the finalists of the "IDOL3.0 PROJECT", and announced the audition results and the group name.

29 candidates remained in the final round, and 11 were selected as official members. The candidates selected as members are as follows (in order of announcement):

In addition, the group name was announced along with the members, and it was named "WHITE SCORPION". The group name is said to contain the meanings of "innocence", "sincerity" and "strength".

The debut date is scheduled for December 7th, and the group will begin full-scale activities from now on. As already announced, the debut song will be "Ganzasashi Sniper". The choreographer for the dance of the song will be choreographer TAKAHIRO, and the music video will be directed by video director Kazuma Ikeda.

Ao, one of the members, said at the event, "It doesn't really feel real yet, but I want to work hard so that I don't disappoint the people who have supported me. I want to aim for a big stage."

"IDOL3.0 PROJECT" has been attracting attention because Yasushi Akimoto, who has worked with AKB48 and Nogizaka46, was appointed as the general producer. The project aims to be an "idol group that is updated to meet the changing times and needs" without being limited by traditional idols or areas of activity.

In conjunction with the launch of the project, Overs conducted an IEO through "Nippon Idol Token (NIDT)" on domestic cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbook and DMM Bitcoin. The total sales amount exceeded 1 billion yen.

NIDT was well below the IEO public offering price immediately after listing, but it is also known for soaring as the progress of the project became clear. The members announced this time were decided by a vote of users who purchased NIDT in the IEO. NIDT is expected to be used at various events in the future.
