Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit added a new feature to MetaTrader5 on the 3rd. It now allows trading of indexes from around the world using stablecoin USDT.
Currently, Bybit's MT5 allows trading of indexes from around the world, but from now on, users will be able to trade major indexes from around the world while trading with USDT.
This update opens up new opportunities for traders who want to diversify their portfolios with indexes from various global markets.
Bybit's latest update introduces additional major indexes that can be traded as CFDs (contracts for difference) using USDT.
The major indexes available are China A50 Index Cash CFD, Dow Jones Index Cash CFD, NAS100 Cash, Nikkei Average CFD, and Hang Seng Index Cash CFD.
High leverage of 500x
This expansion allows traders to access global markets such as China, the United States, Japan, and Europe while taking advantage of MT5's advanced tools. This is a groundbreaking expansion as USDT will now be available for these trades.
Users will enjoy seamless execution, high leverage, the ability to trade multiple indexes in different currencies, automated trading, and chart trading 24 hours a day.
It is also possible to apply high leverage of up to 500x on a series of trades. As an example, the Nikkei 225 can be leveraged up to 500x, with contracts starting from 1 and margin in Japanese Yen.
BVSPX (Bovespa) has a maximum leverage of 20x, with contracts starting from 1. Margin is in BRL. Also, the SP500 (S&P Index) has a maximum leverage of 500x, with contracts starting from 1. Margin is in USD.
Most indexes have a minimum lot size of 0.1, but the maximum lot size can be up to 20,000 depending on the index.
Bybit aims to improve the trading experience for traders looking to expand into global markets by providing a wide range of indexes.
