Financial Services Agency Decides to Support AMM Pilot Test by DeFi Study Group

On June 6, the Financial Services Agency announced its decision to support a pilot test involving AMM functionalities, conducted by nine financial institutions as the 10th project under the 'FinTech Demonstration Experiment Hub'. This experiment, selected after a rigorous review process, will test a new service model incorporating KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Financing of Terrorism) within the cryptocurrency sector. It represents a significant effort to explore how decentralized finance technologies can be utilized within the existing regulatory framework.
