Additional Personal Verification Implemented from June 19

On the 19th, Coincheck announced the implementation of an 'additional personal verification' using the public personal authentication service (JPKI) embedded in the IC chip of My Number cards in their cryptocurrency trading service 'Coincheck'.

This initiative to conduct additional personal verification using JPKI during cryptocurrency transfers is the first of its kind in Japan (according to the company, as of June 2026).
