Ripple Partners with JETRO-Supported 'Web3 Salon' to Foster Japanese Startups

Supporting DeFi and RWA among others

On the 9th, U.S.-based Ripple announced a partnership with the entrepreneur support program 'Web3 Salon', aimed at bolstering Japanese Web3 startups. The Web3 Salon is an initiative led by Asia Web3 Alliance Japan, supported by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

Through this collaboration, over the next year, Ripple plans to provide grants of up to $200,000 (approximately 31 million yen) each for Web3 projects originating in Japan and built on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).

The grants will target projects in areas such as decentralized finance (DeFi)...
