[NEWS] Konami opens up functions of NFT provision solution "Resera" to external parties; also announces adoption of Avalanche

Konami Digital Entertainment announced on the 24th that it will provide the functions of its in-house developed NFT provision solution "Resella" to companies and organizations considering Web 3.0 services. The blockchain used is Avalanche (AVAX).

Resella is an NFT provision solution equipped with highly convenient functions for both service developers and users. By introducing Resella, it is possible to smoothly design, issue, and sell NFTs within the service, and to set up an NFT marketplace for buying and selling NFTs between users.

Another feature is that users do not need to open a Web 3.0 wallet, have specialized knowledge about cryptocurrency trading, or go through troublesome procedures, and can trade in Japanese yen. Resella is not only suitable for developing new Web 3.0 services, but also for converting existing Web 2.0 services to Web 3.0.

By providing Resella's functions, Konami will promote the creation of an environment in which Web 3.0-related technologies can be used safely not only in the gaming field but also in all consumer businesses.

With the social implementation of Web 3.0, Recella is designed with the expectation that user experience will expand beyond the boundaries of the service, for example, in-game NFTs can be used as event tickets or shop service vouchers, or event ticket NFTs can be used as characters in the game.

Through alliances between companies, we will work together to consider and realize new experiences for fans.

Change to "Avalanche Subnet"

Recella will change from its current proprietary blockchain to the "Avalanche Subnet" provided by Ava Labs. By adopting Avalanche, an enterprise blockchain widely used in the financial and gaming fields around the world, Recella aims to provide a service that can be used safely by a wider range of users.

Recella's functions, the mutual use of NFTs between multiple services, and its work with Ava Labs will be announced at the "KONAMI Recella NFT Solution Avalanche" stage at "IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO" on the 5th of next month.
