On the 22nd, OKCoinJapan, a domestic cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it will start handling Aptos (APT) from 5:00 p.m. on the 26th of this month. As announced on the 1st, it will handle Aptos deposits and withdrawals, sales offices, and savings services.
OKCoinJapan is the first to handle Aptos. With the addition of Aptos, the number of stocks handled by OKCoinJapan will be 37.
Aptos is a layer-1 blockchain that uses the programming language "Move" developed by Meta, and its strengths are its high security and scalability.
Regarding the background of handling Aptos, OKCoinJapan mentioned, "We are one of the leading mainnet validators for Aptos in Japan." They then stated, "Through being the first to handle Aptos in Japan, we would like to work on strengthening our services and expanding the community ecosystem in order to further popularize Aptos in the future."
The day before, they also announced that they would handle Solana.
OKCoinJapan also announced that they would handle Solana (SOL) on the 21st.
Solana will handle deposits and withdrawals, as well as exchanges, sales offices, and savings. The start date and time of handling is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on the 28th of this month.
