To what extent will AI take over jobs?

This question has primarily been discussed in the realm of intellectual labor. However, the changes occurring now are qualitatively different. AI is beginning to shift from simply "thinking" to becoming an entity that "executes."

Trust Wallet, with over 220 million users, has released the "Trust Wallet Agent Kit (TWAK)," which allows AI agents to directly execute on-chain transactions.

While traditional AI was primarily an entity that "organizes and suggests information," TWAK allows AI to handle actual transactions such as swaps, transfers, automatic investments, and limit orders. This can be described as an evolution from the "thinking layer" to the "execution layer."

Furthermore, by offering two modes—an agent wallet mode for fully automated transactions and a WalletConnect mode that requires human approval—it ensures a balance between convenience and self-management.

This suggests the possibility that the "interface itself may disappear" as AI takes over complex operations in DeFi.

This movement is not a one-off product evolution. Several research firms are already predicting an explosive expansion of commerce driven by AI agents.

For example, the US research firm Gartner predicts that "90% of B2B purchases will be processed by AI agents by 2028," and that the process of humans searching, comparing, and clicking will rapidly be replaced by 2030.

Similarly, a16z discusses the potential of "open agent-based commerce" to fundamentally change advertising models. While the traditional internet was a competition for "human attention," the agent era will shift to "optimization between algorithms."

The key here is not "which UI is superior," but "which agent will choose you."
