Realized Loss Reached $11.7 Million

On May 5th, Sequans Communications (NYSE: SQNS), a French IoT semiconductor manufacturer, announced its preliminary financial results for the first quarter of 2026 (January to March). The company sold Bitcoin (BTC) to fund the redemption of convertible bonds and the repurchase of its American Depository Shares (ADS), resulting in a realized loss of $11.7 million.
