Colopl, a developer and operator of app games, announced on the 1st that it will release a new game that utilizes AI, "God-hunting Tsukuyomi." The game was released on the 7th of this month and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.
"God-hunting Tsukuyomi" aims to "create a new gaming experience" by combining AI technology with the creativity of creators, and is positioned as a challenging work. As a roguelike card game in which game creator Kazuma Kaneko is involved as a concept planner, it is characterized by its "AI-based original card generation system." The cards created by "AI Kaneko," which Kaneko himself trained, are unique and original cards in your own world.
At a press conference, Colopl's CPO and senior executive director Tasuku Sakamoto explained about the title, "It is an experimental initiative that utilizes generation AI. It starts from 'the structure we want to make' rather than 'the structure that sells' based on the issues of domestic mobile games." He also stated that this is not an attempt to maximize sales for "Shinma Hunter Tsukuyomi" alone, but rather part of an effort to optimize the company's development portfolio.
The title makes use of the experience gained from using AI in the blockchain game "Brilliantcrypto," released last year by Brilliantcrypto, a blockchain game developer and group company of COLOPL.
