On the 5th, the Web 3.0 fitness game "STEPN GO" announced that it will release a real running shoe in collaboration with the major sports brand Adidas.
The shoes will be part of Adidas' "Ultraboost 5" series, and will be limited to 1,200 pairs. In a statement, STEPN GO said, "This highlights how the two brands are pushing the boundaries of fashion in both the digital and real worlds."
The limited edition shoes can only be purchased on the NFT marketplace "MOOAR" of FSL, which manages STEPN GO. A lottery will be held from the 13th to the 17th, and winners can receive them between the 6th and 22nd of next month. The colors of the winning shoes will be randomly assigned, adding a unique and surprising element to each pair.
Regarding this initiative, FSL CEO Shiti Manghani said, "The launch of the limited edition shoes is a defining moment in our partnership with Adidas," and added, "We've moved from digital collectibles to physical products that people can wear, showing how far the Web 3.0 space has evolved. This collaboration shows the potential of blending fitness, digital assets and real-world products."
In addition, Adidas Studio VP and GM Erika Wykes-Sneyd said, "This collaboration not only brings new ways to approach fitness, but also delivers challenging experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible in both the physical and digital worlds."
