On June 28, on-chain security company Blockaid published a report summarizing the hacking trends of the first half of 2026 (H1).

According to the report, H1 marked the worst six months on record for hacking incidents, with the company identifying 212 significant attacks, which is 3.4 times the total for the entire year of 2025.
